Saturday evening meal - incredibly generous portions; a superbly succulent steak and ale pie, and delicious chips. Good wine and beer. Friendly and attentive service. Free concert in the beer garden. You couldn't ask for much more.

Stopped in here on a motor home tour and got greeted with open arms. Dee the owner was an awesome host and we all had amazing pies from the place. Recommend.

Visited today for lunch. Nice old pub,friendly staff. Decent wine but food was a bit disappointing. I had the shepherds pie which tasty but small,side dish was cabbage and two pieces of carrot,not over impressed. My partner had the special of the day,fish & chips....More

Stopped on the off chance they had space and they did, only just! Very glad we stopped lovely food great service couldn't ask for more. Hope it doesn't get too popular though. We will be back
