Visited this pub again for the first time in years. Food was great four of us ate price was very reasonable. The ambience was welcoming. The menu is more than you would expect from a pub. Once again complements to the chef.

After a lovely 6 mile stomp in the surrounding countryside we ended up in The Bull for lunch on a beautiful spring weekend. We bagged a table in the small beer garden to the rear - there's a few tables at the front of the pub too. Very peaceful on a Saturday afternoon. A Shepherd Neame pub so a few... More

Came here for a family Christmas Eve dinner and had a lovely meal. Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely and not too long a wait. Would definitely recommend.

Small bar area which was congested with locals on their bar stools so difficult to reach the bar to get served, though this is typical of a small local pub but very annoying, they were very load too. Only two real ales on but adequate. The food was the very basic pub food served in just about every local pub.... More

The attraction of this pub was its closeness to a nearby campsite. Draught ale was good but a bit cool. Pork rib fritter in a JD sauce sounded a good starter but came on a tea plate and was disappointing. Pork okay but some big lumps of fat all under a deluge of sickly sauce. I felt like Gordon Ramsey... More

We booked in advance and had a table reserved for us. The bar area was busy with locals who had moved the bar stools to suit their group and accessing the bar was difficult. Nonetheless, everyone was pleasant and moved aside when they noticed me. Their group created a good atmosphere and with a large fire burning in the restaurant... More

The Bull is my local (2 min stroll!!) Andy and Patrice always are very welcoming. We are fairly new to the village and the Bull is its hub. The building is over 400 years old and is decorated and furnished in keeping with its history. The range of beers is great and the food excellent. The menu provides seasonal dishes,... More

Took my 93 year old grandad out for lunch today and thought we'd try The Bull as its local to him. The food was SUPERB. The portion size was extremely generous. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The toilets were spotless. Could not fault one part of our visit and will definitely be returning. Would recommend to all.

Thank Kerry V

A friendly and welcoming pub with a focus on good old fashioned hospitality. With a good selection of traditional home cooked pub food and a Seasonal menu, all freshly made to order.

We open all day from 12pm and serve food all day up to 8.45pm ( 7.00pm Sunday )

WE welcome families and have a large gated garden area at the rear of the pub, along with ample parking.
