On a rainy Sunday we decided to treat ourselves to a pub lunch & Sunday papers. Rang ahead and got the last table for two- very lucky for us. Food was really good, we both had the same....scallops, then roast beef. Can reccommend the House...More

We're delighted! Thanks for a lovely review. We LOVE Sundays, especially roast dinner and even as a non-scallop lover, I'm tempted by them! We look forward to welcoming you back.

We phoned last minute to see if they were serving food and on arrival a table had been readied for us. Made to feel most welcome also our 3 dogs. They were made a fuss of it was really nice. The dogs even got biscuits....More

Just had an excellent meal at the Swan, we had Scallops, and lobster tail. The food was cooked beautifully and I couldn’t fault anything. The service was perfect and as always a great atmosphere. I love this Pub.

Thankyou! We love our pub too but we might be a bit biased so we're always glad when others feel the same!

Was told about this place from a local from Netheravon. Went there three times in one week !! Twice during the week and one Sunday lunch. Great food is served with good customer service. Will go again when in the area.

We had an impressive experience a few weeks ago here - the landlady especially seemed a gem. However, this evening we were left very disappointed and will unlikely return. Plans were for a nice meal for two - time away from the children. Sunday evening...More

We're so sorry that you didn't have a great follow up experience with us, especially as nights out without children are rare! Until very recently, Within 20 mins of your phone call, we suddenly became very busy hence the move to a more limited menu....More

One of the biggest problems if you visit the Salisbury Plain area is finding a really good pub that serves real, home-made, high-quality food! Well, what a cracker of a pub this is. Situated in beautiful Enford, this is a lively village pub that serves...More

We can't wait to welcome you again! We love gin (we currently have 35 on the bar to choose from) and we LOVE good food. After that all that matters is good service and a great atmosphere. Thanks for being part of it!

Had my third visit to this beautiful pub last night and I’ve got to say the food I’ve had on each visit is absolutely faultless and the taste wow!!! ( chorizo scotch egg was amazing 😁) Will be back very soon as menu changes regularly...More

Thanks ! Keep your eyes peeled for the new scotch eggs - menus change monthly but we know that they're so popular, we play with different versions of them so there'll probably be a different one on next time you're in.

We were given a wonderful commentary on the history of this old building. The owner, Pete, was very gracious with his time and the bartender was attentive. We were very pleased with our dinner-I had the crab salad which was delicious. Dessert was an apple...More

Praise indeed! It takes a lot to beat a grandmother's crumble - Pete says thanks for the compliment! Thanks also for a lovely review, we're very proud of the pub and our community and love sharing it with others.

We have been to the Swan Inn several times over the last few weeks. It is very hit and miss. They seem to struggle with consistency, one meal being good, the next bad. It is out local and we want to support it but there...More

What a shame, we never want our customers to feel like this. You're right about all the good stuff but our food is usually up there too. Our menu changes next weekend and we've had some changes in the kitchen recently so things are back...More

While this place has nearly all the attributes of a great country pub it lacks parking and the menu is not very exciting. That said the welcome is friendly, the service is excellent, and the beer absolutely perfectly kept. I’d go back, but not in...More

Thankyou for highlighting some of the things we are most proud of; keeping beer well is a fine art and we're really proud to have the Cask Marque which recognises this. Making sure service is excellent is possibly the hardest thing any business does so...More
