Came here for dinner and the food was excellent! The restaurant is also right next to two bar areas that include a dance floor and access to a patio and the roof for a view of the city.

We often eat here on Sunday's after church services. Always great food and great service. Bacon is amazing, prime rib is always good. Omelet station, crepe stations, s'mores station are really good. Never had a bad meal here!
We stopped at Garden City and the hotel staff suggested we go to Samy's for steak. I had the prime rib and it was divine. Service was good and we were all very pleased with our meals.
We arrived about 6:15. There was no hostess, we finally entered the bar area and stopped a waitress for seating instructions. She said, "Oh, just sit anywhere!!" So we did!! We ordered drinks and they arrived in a timely fashion. But ..... we waited and waited for our waiter to return to take our order!! We finally stopped another waiter... More
Took my parents out to eat for my mother's birthday. Expectations for a relatively expensive steak house were not met. Not a single word or greeting from the host staff who sat us when we entered and left. We all ordered steak, our meals took over 45 minutes with no updates from our server. I ordered a medium rare KC... More
The food was outstanding, the staff was not very friendly, and very slow. It was a Wednesday night and not busy, so we thought it would be super. There was not a hostess to seat us, we came close to walking out on a very slow middle of the week night.
This is a well run, upper range (quality and price) restaurant in Garden City, presided over by Samy, who has always been present when we have dined there. As Easterners we always order beef and we are amused that our Garden City friends always order seafood. I suppose this is an endorsement of the range of choice at Samy's.
See my review for Clarion Inn it will tell the story about how good Samys complimentary breakfast is. The only complaint we 3 had was that the music was way too loud and the guests are allowed to talk loudly on their cell phones in the dining part of the restaurant which can ruin a good meal.
