Homemade soups, breads, desserts. I had the soup and salad with a hearty slice of homemade bread. It was filling, although a bit overpriced.

All very good. Friend loves the chicken salad sandwich. I just capitalized on the salad bar and of course had to have a slice of fresh bread!

Haven't eaten lunch there for a while, but love their soups, especially the borscht. The pies are good as well.

I was told that the pies here were fabulous. So wanting to take one to my host, I called in. And they had a fabulous selection. The lovely staff offered to keep my purchase until later in the day so it didn't get hot in the car. And just as well I agreed as when I returned a few hours... More

This is an original, one of a kind, family, home made, friendly efficient restaurant. Fresh homemade bread, slices of your favorite pie, hearty soups, reasonable pricing.

We had the buffet for breakfast, was not good for the price we paid. Cold, hard, no flavor food. Won't be back for breakfast.

This is locally owned and operated. A great place for a wonderful price and everything is fresh. Try the soup and salad or an amazing sandwich. Please don't miss out on the homemade breads.

This is an amazing place. The food is fabulous. The bread can't be beat. The Pies are DANGEROUS!!!! I love it and stop everytime I am in town. I also use them to cater luncheons and always bring a treat home to my husband.

The freshly prepared food has a "home cooked" type quality. The baked goods (pies, breads, rolls, and cookies) are excellent.

If you are not familiar with this Mennonite specialty, this is your chance to try it. Verenika is the Mennonite equivalent of ravioli, but better. Handmade and quite labor intensive, it is a hard to find item outside of communities where it is traditional. The ones made at the Breadbasket are very good and a must stop whenever going through...
