The food might take a while to come through. When it comes through. It is totally worth it. Their steak is worth trying. Very patient waiters. The prices are affordable. Food ranges from 15.000 UGX. If you want a less congested place to eat out a you he's towards Gulu. It is worth the stop. Would recommend this place. It's... More

My wife and I were on a guided trip through Uganda, and stopped here the last day for lunch. Very pleasant environment. Nicely landscaped lawn. Had some souvenirs which are not real easy to find in Uganda. And all 3 of us enjoyed our meal in the outdoor dining area.

The Kabalega diner is a great place to stop for a meal. It is clean, the staff are polite and efficient, the food quality is superb and the restrooms are always clean. They also have some local handicrafts that appeal to tourists. An extra service allows you to call ahead so your food will be ready when you arrive.

Nice clean dining spot on the way towards Gulu. Pleasant seating outside with umbrellas. The service was fairly quick for freshly cooked food. The menu caters to western tastes with all of the basics- burgers, chicken, pasta, etc. There is also a small collection of locally made products and crafts inside. I bought a nice broad rimmed hat since I... More

Although supposedly somewhere to break a journey this place is incredibly sleepy and slow....... When you still have several hours on the road ahead it would be helpful if service were a bit quicker ... and if the drinks were actually chilled... Reasonable bathroom facilities.

Had lunch here with a party of 10 ppl - adults and kids - on the way to Murchison. A basic but nice setup and a wide choice to eat or snack. No culinary marvel but well prepared and well seasoned. All types of ppl and all ages will find something to their liking. Only place I know to serve... More

Found this place on my way to Ziwa, the Rhino Sanctuary, and spent the night there. The business is expanding from being a restaurant to offering also a place to camp where you can hire a tent so I became the first camper. The tent where i spent the night was really good quality and the price, a very good... More

This diners conveniently located for those traveling to Gulu or on their way to Murchison Falls game park. It feels like safari anytime you stop there. Nice scenery, crafts for purchase, good food options and friendly staff. It is also located only about 2 Kil from Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, which is a must see for anyone in the area.

A lovely oasis halfway between Kampala and Gulu. We feature a clean and secure restaurant serving delicious food to satisfy anyone's palette. We have freshly brewed coffee and icy cold drinks. And yes, we have European flush-type loos toilets restrooms! We are open seven days-a-week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
