The staff and the location are great but the rest is just so average but the price isn't. So not going again and... More

I've visited the Leaping Hare well over 10 times in the past few years and tried both breakfast and lunch, and the cafe and restaurant. The food and service is always very good and the wines really give the place a point of difference. It's particularly nice when the sun come through the large barn windows and the whole places... Lovely place to sit outside, surrounded by peace and quiet ( apart from the appealing sounds of birds and sheep) I ordered asparagus tart......small portion for the price , but it looked tempting. Very disappointing flavour, or rather, the lack of it! Would probably come again, hopefully find something more tasty on the menu!?

The service was slow and roast chicken was over powered by fennel which wasn't even mentioned on the menu; however the beef was enjoyed. Waiting staff need to be taught how to serve at a table as every time they served us they reached across us and when stacking clean crockery fingers were put into the cups, hardly hygienic. If... So my sister and I were very pleased to get a table in this beautiful restaurant after I'd called the day before and they'd told us they were fully booked. Great menu choice and I'm a vegetarian- the beetroot tart was very delicious and we both loved the focaccia bread to start! Warm and divine. Wait staff so friendly and... More

Driving back from London to Suffolk we stopped at the Leaping Hare for a late lunch . I had the salmon fish cake which was delicious and my husband had the pulled pork which he thoroughly enjoyed . We got a table only fifteen minutes after arrival a great improvement in last times 45minutes ! The only down side was... More

Visited again on a Monday in April. Three of us had lunch. Simply delightful and as good as it could possibly be. From starters through to desserts - all superb - and fantastic visual presentation.

So we visited this we my mother who lives in the area. She wanted to take us out to brekki and we weren't disappointed. There were three of us in total & due to the small inside seating area plus it being busy we had to wait for around 20mins. This wasn't an issue as they have a lovely shop... More
