Tried to get in on a Sunday but they were fully booked so we returned the following day and it was far less busy. Perhaps many years ago this was a nice building, but it's been refurbished by hollowing it out to form two large...More

Went for sunday lunch; the menu looked good but what a disappointment the whole experience was. Very long wait for the food which was really awful tasted like slop on a plate. I couldn't believe how it had gone so far down hill. Won't be...More

The carvery was excellent and couldn't fault it. Choice of three meats, homemade Yorkshires and a huge choice of lovely fresh veg. Staff all lovely. My only issue is no background music. It helps a lot, especially if you are quite close to other tables.

The carvery. Simply the best Sunday roast I've had for a long time. Visited with family and booked in advance. Warm tasty meat, lots of veg and a really decent attempt at Yorkshire puds. All that was missing was apple crumble and custard!

What a lovely place. After travelling in horrible traffic from Hampshire for over 5 hours with two small children, we happened across the Bunbury Arms. In pouring rain, at 6 pm we stumbled in the door and said we'd had a long journey and were...More

Having checked the website for this pub and their opening times we believed they were serving food between 5.30 pm to 9 pm. Appreciate it was bank holiday but surely it would be useful to add their opening times for such holidays on the website....More
