This is a very cool place. It's in an old school house...lots of exposed brink, board and batten and very high ceilings. There is a bar room and then a room where you dine. I was there for a private event and the menu was preselected for us (my own personal nightmare!) but everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was... More

Inside the restaurant the acoustics make it difficult to hear each other. Outside on the patio is much better for a relaxed evening. We were there for restaurant week. Our waiter was very attentive. The salmon was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The charred green beans are very tasty. Even if you don't like portobello mushrooms, the soup was creamy... More

The restaurant is in an old school house with parking lot on side and a bit tricky to find once inside the building. Walk to almost to end of hall, it's on the right. It took a long time to get our drinks both the first time and the second. The food arrival was timely and very good. Our group... More

Nice place for couples, clients and families with older kids. Relaxing patio. Interior decor modern chic. Variety menu options: quiche, burger, pasta, fish, salads, soups along with fresh bread prior to meal. Fresh food prepared to enhance their natural flavors.

I wanted to try this restaurant after all the great things I had heard. However my experience was extremely disappointing. The taco appetizer was good but was no better than those at the chain down the street. The scallops were some of the worst I had ever tasted. They were undercooked; almost raw. The sauce used was terrible. Too much... More

Enjoyed the unique schoolhouse-turned-restaurant space. Local beer offerings were appreciated! Had the Asian-inspired greenbeans and calamari for apps, which were both great. Had the halibut special, which had a delicious sauce, but the mashed potatoes were not strongly truffle flavored, and the consistency was somewhat too close to instant potatoes. Overall, a very good dinner. Appreciated our server who brought... More

What a great surprise. We ordered appetizers ( tuna tartar, egg rolls, smoked salmon and all were delicious. I ordered a salad for dinner and the beet apple salad was fresh and the perfect size after overindulgence in first course. They have excellent desserts too. We ordered several and shared a bite. Would look for reasons to come back.

We tried Sabio for lunch since we had been here for dinner a few times. I had the Tuna Tartare which was pieces of ahi tuna and avocado mixed with sesame dressing topped with crispy wontons, and all shaped like a soup can - very unique looking and delicious. Two dining companions had the Turkey and Brie sandwich, which was... More

I don't know why this place gets some bad reviews. I have never had a bad meal here, and it far exceeds Dudley's on Short Street, which has similar food. Sabio is in a beautiful old building with a lot of space and the outdoor patio is gorgeous. We ate here two nights in a row last year after the... More

I visited this restaurant with a group. Once we ordered our food, it didn't take long to get it, but it took ages to get to ordering it! Seemed like they didn't want our orders for a while. Food was ok - my dish was unfortunately super salty in parts (the scallops) while the rest was underseasoned. The others liked... More
