Stopped in for coffee, but being from out of town, the barista also gave us a great selection of recommendations for places to shop and eat on Bardstown Road.

After having to run out and jump my daughter's car during rush hour I decided to stop off for a cup of coffee. It's more relaxing than fighting traffic plus this is nice stop n the ever popular Highlands neighborhood. This was my chance to finally try their coffee. The dark roast was perfect for a day like today. Parking... More

Days Coffee is a coffee shop, and a pretty nice one. A variety of seating options for those looking to work by themselves, work with someone, have a friendly meeting or get together or whatever. A comfortable feel to the place. Coffee is never bad, and usually something you can really enjoy. It's a local place, and thankfully, it feel... More

If you're looking for a place to relax, unwind and sip on an incredibly good cup of coffee and dessert, then look no further. Days has been in the same location for years and they offer great coffee at a reasonable price. Cheaper than Starbucks and just as good if not better. They cater to all walks of life and... More

The vibe is great. There's a few tables outdoors and a side area with more bench seating for getting some work done. The coffee and espresso shots were just great and the steamer for my 2 yr. old was just right and not too hot for her to sip on right away. Very accommodating staff and I can't wait to... More

As far as coffee goes, I've leant the best places to go for it are the stand alone coffee houses and, low and behold, here's a prime example of that. Their coffee is good if you actually like coffee, coffee and not syrup enhanced whatever's. They have a large selection of drinks from coffee to teas, to smoothies. The building... More

Great coffee shop next door to Highland Morning. Ordered a single shot of espresso while waiting for a table next door and wish I ordered more it was so good. Possibly one of the best I've ever been served. Highly recommend.

Cool, local, laid-back coffee shop with free wifi. If this review only had to say one thing it would say get a Big Train (think of it as a much tastier version of a frap that you get at that other big coffee place)! There are lots of tables, couches, outside tables and even board games! Great place to hang... More

Very good neighborhood coffee shop. Coffee is unique and full of taste. Atmosphere has the requisite amount of funk, although not the funkiest place I have been too. Customer service is the typical short, slightly edgy, smug that you get in these places. As if they are saying we are not corporate and we don't have a manual. Most of... More

Independent coffee shops are a must in Louisville. They are definitely part of the local flavor and culture. Starbucks has nothing on these shops. I would also like City Girl Country Coffee added.
