Typical good beers at very reasonable prices. New food menu is good. But a new waitress today, Kate was great. She was friendly and helpful. We hope she stays around.

We stopped for a quick bite. Had the portobello mushroom Reuben - fun twist. Tried three of their locally brewed beers. Super friendly staff

The atmosphere is small and charming. Great IPA! The food is a good pub style selection, and everything I've tried has been good!

We had an opportunity to stop by for family outing since $3.75 pints during Bardstown Rd Aglow. Service was very good so that's different from taste issue. We ordered Spinach Queso; salty thin chips with dip that had barely any spinach and Cheese had absolutely NO flavor.(they just sold their last bowl of Bison soup; really at 7:00pm?) Bison Burger... I stopped for the night in Louisville during a cross country trip and made my way back into the Highland district. I checked out Cumberland Brews and rather enjoyed it. They're IPA was on point and the hoppy lager wasn't half bad, either. Got a steak & a beer (and banging Brussels sprouts) for 12 bucks, and to me, that... More

Our visit here was just ok. It is definitely a hole in the wall compared to other breweries in town and those very near by. The only redeeming thing was the Roasted Pumpkin Ale. It is probably one of the better pumpkin beers I've ever had. The mead was subpar compared to other meads I've had. All in all, just... More

Very tiny restaurant. Our waitress was great, she answered all of our questions and even changed my order after I had already placed it. I had their special: salmon with rice and carrots. This entree was very good for only one chef. My buddy and I got the beer sampler, which had four different flavors. All of the beers were... More

We just happened to walk by this place and decided to try it. First of all, parking can be a challenge. You will have to find a place on the main street or another street nearby. We arrive around 1:30 PM and were seated immediately. Our waitress Jessica, was very busy but took our drink order right away. I think... More

We love this little brewery pub but the owner needs to decide whether He/she wants to run a successful business or not. We come on Saturday or Sunday afternoons and every single time, there is only one waitress, no bartender and one or two kitchen help. It's really busy today. Three groups walked out without being served. Our poor little... More

Whenever we go back to The Ville, we stop at Cumberland Brews for the jerk wings. We were disapointed by this visit. I ordered two beer flights and our waitress couldn't tell us which beers were which. The service she provided was poor. The wings were smaller and the sauce wasn't as good as our last visit.
