5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

We visited this locations after seeing the great reviews on TripAdvisor. It was spot on in regard to the excellent food choices and the charming environment. Live music was an added bonus. I would love to spend time just looking at all the photos on the wall and exploring the history.

We had a wonderful meal here. The attached parking lot was a nice convenience. The shrimp and grits app was incredible. The lamb chops were fantastic. My husband loved his halibut. The mango sorbet was a nice sweet way to end the meal. Waitstaff was great and gave you plenty of time to decide and between courses. I would definitely... More

Business dinner: 5 of us. Had to wait for an hour, but it was well worth the wait. So we hung out at the bar and the barkeep was a great guy. Busy to be sure, but he always had time for a smile and a professional way about him. The menu is full of wonderful meals. The tone was... More

One of my favorite restaurants in North America. Whenever we are in the area we always stop in. My all time favorite is the Stilton Salad, Shrimp and Grits and the Lamb Chops. The service is exceptional the food is fabulous and the atmosphere is fantastic. Wow

Lovely place for lunch. Service was great. I had spinach and cauliflower salad , shrimp and grits. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich with broccoli salad. All was very good. The best by far was the shrimp and grits. The iced tea is really good.

Excellent dinner in a very crowded room with the flavor of an important old restaurant. Very good selection of wines and the food is very well prepared and perfectly served. When I will be again in Louisville I will come back.

Some of the best food in Lousiville. A long history here is this intement establishment. Take a look at the walls. You'll find stories from high school sports to boxing with Muhammad Ali to horse racing, of course. The Shrimp and Grits are a must for an appitizer. Good southern food with red eye gravy and country ham. The Escargot... More

A recommendation from a Louisville local. Small restaurant with an interesting history. The food and atmosphere were unique and fun. Try the pork chop and the grits and shrimp. (Very close to the headstones of Muhammad Ali and Colonel Sanders.)

Great steakhouse with lots of atmosphere. Very friendly and efficient staff. Seating is a bit crowded and lighting is low. Food is fantastic. Steak with all the traditional sides are worth the experience.

I consider myself a foodie. This is one of the best dining experience in Louisville. Older, classy atmosphere was pretty cool. Thought I might bump into Frank Sinatra! Food was 5 star!! Parking was very limited, and had to park a couple blocks away. Only complaint.....
