If your a fan of Irish beer and great food then this place is a must visit. Great menu and awesome food at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is great from the bar to the dining room and outdoor seating. Parking can be a issue in that area depending on when u go

To have a great Saturday you need to get up at a reasonable hour. Then at around 11:00 a.m. get yourself (and friends or family) over to the Irish Rover for their Traditional Irish Breakfast. Having been to Ireland I can tell you that the traditional breakfast you get at the Irish Rover is authentic, except for the lack of... More

We finally got around to trying the Irish Rover. The food was good and so was the service. I think I'd go back more for the bar and beers on tap. It has a lot of character.

We were in Louisville to visit with family and since it was 17 degrees outside we decided on a lunch place that served comfort food. This place had that and more, my wife had Cottage Pie which is beef stew in a bread bowl capped with mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese. It looked and tasted delicious and was way more... More

Stopped in on New Years Eve for dinner. The Scotch Egg appetizer was very good as was the blue cheese app. Fish and Chips and salad entree were very good also. The server was friendly and engaging and the owner always makes the rounds to see that everything is going well. Always enjoy our visits to the Irish Rover.

We have found one of our favorite places now! Food was delicious, service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. It is Locally owned, the owners were in there enjoying some food as well, and nothing was disappointing. We were in town for the weekend and would love to make a trip back to eat here. Best food we have... More

There wasn't anything bad that happened I just wasn't overly impressed. We were a very large group of 16 and they did a decent job keeping up with us. The food was good. A little crazy to upcharge someone $2 for a dinky tiny salad but you get that sometimes. Overall it was just fine.

The food here is terrific! The bangers and mash were to die for. Oh and the Guinness flour less chocolate cake was amazing! Would definitely go back on another trip to Louisville.

The Rover is in my 'hood and i am grateful for that. New to town, travelling with family or on business? Do yourself a favor and go where the locals go. Michael and his wife Siobahn will make you feel right at home. The smartguy place to get a pint of stout in Louisville....and St. Patricks Day?...better not find you... More

Full of locals and in a neighborhood. Food is quite fine and the bar service is memorable. Irish all the way.
