Thought we would give Corbetts one last try thinking third time a charm since we had tried it twice previously when it was new in town and found food quality and service lacking. Third time also a let down. Service suffered despite it being a slow Saturday night due to severe thunderstorm. Arrived at 7:30 and got our drinks around... More

We visited here recently. It was Derby weekend, so Corbett's had a fixed menu. Because we ate at the bar, we were able to order a la carte. Unfortunately, the bartender was pretty busy and didn't seem much interested in serving us quickly. Even worse, the food we did order did not arrive hot or even warm. It did actually... More

Corbett's has a very nice menu that is meticulously prepared. The restaurant is built in the historic Von Allmen mansion, which once housed Kentucky's first working dairy farm. The restaurant has a wide variety of indoor and outdoor space including a basement "cellar" which is very cool. There are tables and places to eat down there and it's quite the... More

Recently celebrated our anniversary here. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and quite enough to conduct a normal conversation. The waitress was exceptional. The food was well prepared. We both had the spinach salad, though we prefer the hot bacon dressing over their' s. My wife had the pot roast while I had the lobster penne, but I substituted the... More

Corbett's is always a sure thing for a fine dinner. The ever changing menu ensures there is always something new to ty. I went for lunch today and had a gourmet grilled cheese with Lobster bisque. The grilled cheese was delicious. The lobster bisque was not the creamy type more of a broth based but no lobster in it which... More

I have been to Corbett's before for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. My husband and I went to lunch there yesterday and had the hot chicken. It was by far one of the worst meals I have ever tasted. The chicken lacked flavor and there was no heat at all. The chicken was on top of cheese grits were... More

A early Valentine's and we got the Valentine 5 course tastings. Each part of the meal was tastefully presented and was perfect to the taste! It was a bit expensive but worth the variety. We loved the wine from Argentina. I also loved how they paid special attention to seating you so that each table had its own private space... More

This restaurant is recognizable from far away, a beautifully standalone house set amidst the most unlikely neighbors consisting of Costco and outdoor sporting store! Nonetheless, the food here is superb and so is the service. While pretty pricey for Louisville, you really do get what you pay for. The tasting menu is delicious and fresh, great for solo dining, dates,... More
