Deciding to go for a drive up into the hinterland of Burnie, we discovered Annsleigh Gardens. Our lunch was delicious, well priced, and served by very friendly staff. After lunch we strolled through the gardens. These were presented beautifully incorporating a great sense of humor. Unfortunately our timing for visiting the garden was between seasons with very little colour -... More

Okay the food was fab and very delish but one major sin took place....never...repeat ....never bring out the main course whilst one is still only half way through the entree!!!. Aside from that and maybe a slightly under done lemon meringue pie the food was spot on. Home made quiche was fabulous, soup was ooh la la, garlic bread was... More

The rating on TripAdvisor helped us decide this was the venue for us. We like to visit a garden and then have a bite to eat every now and then. Some gardens we have been to in the past have been dubious in terms of their understanding and commitment to their target audience. Not true of Annsleigh! What a delight!... More

We spent a most enjoyable afternoon at Annsleigh Gardens. A delicious lunch, followed by about an hour spent wandering around the beautiful gardens, relaxing & taking advantage of the many photo opportunities. The menu is quite extensive for a small cafe, our choices were all yummy, the service excellent & very nice coffee. Well worth a visit.

I went to Annsleigh Gardens because l saw it's rating on trip advisor. I'm so pleased I did. I had their vegetarian lasagne and salad and a piece of the apple and date cake all for $19.50. The food was well presented, tasty and fresh. This is plain, simple food done very well. After lunch I spent a delightful half... More

We had these beautiful gardens to ourselves. To those of you that have not been there, I thoroughly recommend them. Then have a very tasty, good value lunch. Tony

One of the best presented gardens in the North of Tassie. Menu in the café was extremely good. Food even better. Prices very affordable. Take the time to enjoy the garden it's well worth it.

I've never been there before so we decided to have afternoon tea there today. We both had Devonshire Tea. The scones were as light as a feather and two whole scones each instead of one scone cut in 2. Lavishly spread with jam and cream and a pot of real leaf tea and not just a tea bag in a... More

My family took me to Annsleigh Gardens for Mothers Day and, never having been there before, I had visions of a small 'kiosk' type café. It was nothing as I'd imagined. The café is a decent size and set amid the most stunning gardens. The food was superb, with generous servings at very reasonable prices. They offered the best range... More

Thank you so much for the lovely review Sylvia. Most customers give us positive comments at the counter, but not many take the time to share it on a forum like Tripadvisor, and it means a lot to us. Thanks again. More
