Great little place, If you are looking for a little southern cooking with southern hospitality to go with it this is your place. Country fried steak and eggs with a side of biscuits and gravy, loved it.

Love this place. A favorite place to go for breakfast something for everyone. Great family atmosphere.
With my upbringing, I can consider myself an expert on country/soul food - whichever you prefer to call it. I stopped by on my way traveling for lunch and ordered the meat and three for the day. Here are my takeaways: 1) Good, full menu....So, even if you don't want the country meal, you can get breakfast or a burger (important had the whole family been with me). 2) Average country cooking. Nothing "slap your mama" worthy, but was all decent. Portion sizes weren't huge either, but for the price it was fine. Cornbread was good. Sweet tea wasn't very sweet. The pie was great (especially the meringue). 3) I came in late (within an hour of closing), so the service was average at best. I waited a while for a refill and got my own napkins. Only 2-3 other tables had guests at the time. But, they were in cleanup mode as well, so it wasn't terrible - just wasn't great. Overall, I would eat here again. But not because I just had to.More
Nice refurbished building New interior appointments Very clean, friendly staff Open from 6-2 Menu has something for everyone Prices and portions were great You will not be disappointed Include this as your breakfast or lunch stop
We found this place through Trip Advisor and we were well pleased. Everyone had something different and everything was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich was fantastic.
This is a little hidden gem. I lived 25 miles away for years before I discovered it, and I'm so glad I did. They have an amazing lunch buffet with a vast variety of good, hot food. It is larger inside than it looks, and...it's a good thing. Wilma's Kountry Kitchen gets a lot of business at lunchtime. Their breakfasts are wonderful, as well. I loved everything I tried & I bet you will, too.More
If your hungry and around Mayfield for breakfast or dinner, stop here. The food is delicious. The building is old but is kept clean.
Choices are few for lunch in this area. Decor is basic country diner and service is friendly but busy at lunchtime. I should have seen that since the little road in front of the place was full of parked cars. The menu had a lot...of items to pick from but for us it came down to a pimento cheese sandwich, vegetable soup and a bacon cheeseburger. The pimento cheese and soup tasted homemade and the cheeseburger was good. The real gem here appears to be the homemade pie - we had chocolate meringue and it was delicious. The meringue was mile high and looked like a county fair blue ribbon winner. Overall a good place for lunch and pie.More
Wilma’s is a great little place to enjoy breakfast! Fast, friendly service and you are always certain to run into someone you know! Oh and the pies...Mile high meringue! Wow is all I can say!
Great food and great service. Always neat and clean. When I go it is usually for breakfast. There is a variety of items to choose from. The coffee is hot and smooth. Will go back.
Love the Thursday special Chicken and dressing. Very delicious. Food portions are enough to fill you up.
Love their good old fashioned country breakfasts and coffee that never stops. The decor is quite country and the waitresses call you "honey" when you order. I have been here dozens of times and have never had a bad meal. Love their biscuits and country...ham.More
This is by far the best restaurant in the Mayfield area with actual homecooking that is awesome. The breakfast is amazing. The desserts are just as great. No complaints at all for Wilma's.
We've been to Wilma's several times for both breakfast and lunch. The food generally is good and the place is very clean. Our only food "taste" complaint was the pancake a member of our party ordered. It was literally as large as a dinner plate...and almost an inch thick. It looked dry and inedible and he said that is how it tasted. Conversely, the food portions are always a bit on the small side -- except for that whopper pancake that wasn't good. The food is good, you just may leave with your tummy a little less than full. But, hey, that's a good thing, right?More
The service was good. The breakfast was good, not an IHOP. Wilma s is a little do drop in place that serves a decent breakfast. Good family atmosphere, but not really my kind of place. I ve noticed a lot of older people frequent this...place,I feel it s more a matter of convience and location more than quality.More
