The food is great! Burgers here are well-known and popular with the "Poolroom Burger" and other versions being the most popular! There are many other choices available as well for those not looking for a burger adventure as well.

The service is good, however, they raised the prices and the food isn't as good as it used to be. What happened to great food they used to make???

Food was very good. Southern style, comfort food, chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, things like that. Initially the service was decent, but after the food arrived, never seen the waitress again. Never got a refill on the drink I or the family had. The manager or the owner (not sure who he was) was asking how the food was, but... More

If you're looking for the local eatery, this is it. Basic food--choose one of their specialties and you'll be ok. No real atmosphere, but good prices and a piece of local culture. Don't believe I could get a beer with my dinner. Enjoyed the fact that it was in their small downtown next to the river and not in a... More

We love this place. We eat here about once a week. I love their homemade vegetable soup and salad. My hubby loves their chopped steak. We have ordered just about everything on the menu and everything is delicious. We really love their hot dogs and the homemade sauce.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on a weekend trip and was pleased with the food, we both had bacon and eggs with biscuit and gravy for $3.99, a great price for the plate. Inside the restaurant has tin ceilings which is pretty cool. Everything was very good especially for the price, clean bathrooms friendly waitresses, what more... More

This was a great place to eat. Wasn't expensive and there was a lot of food. The place is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Also don't leave without eating a piece of pie!
