Been here a half dozen times and it's always just okay. Average staff and atmosphere and average food. Sometimes I feel the meal was adequately priced and sometime a bit high but overall reasonable.

Staff was very friendly at this cute little spot on Main St. Service was quick and efficient. The chicken salad sandwich was a little dry but good. The roasted pepper/tomato bisque was watery but tasted ok. Great sounding desserts but we did not try any. I would go back again hoping for better.

We stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious home-style meals. We tried the Kentucky Hot Brown which had been recommended to us at our hotel. It was very tasty but also very rich. Not something you could eat every day. My chef salad was fresh and crisp and my husband's vegetable soup was delicious. Our server... More

When a Community Business meeting went long, we adjourned to Melissa's for continued conversation and comfort food. The staff very graciously accommodated our group of 8. Everyone was very satisfied with the plates and atmosphere.

We took a walk on the main street of Versailles and ran across Melissa. Looking for just coffee we were warmly greeted at opening. Cute restaurant and decor so inviting that we had lunch. Chicken Pot pie was great with a particularly flaky crust. Thanks

I really enjoyed my meal. The place was quiet, cozy and the music was great. The waitress was extra nice. The catfish and blackberry cobbler was excellent. All the food was good. Nice place.

My sister lives in Louisville, we live in Atlanta and were in search of a place between Louisville & Lexington for lunch, Melissa's was a great choice! The menu offered sandwiches, salads & more, including some specials our server shared. We don't make it back to our home state a lot, so our daughter decided the roasted pepper bisque and... More

Traveling with my husband on business we stopped in for dinner at Melissa's and had a delicious meal! There are specials and lots of great variety on the menu! My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and a veg. He raved about it! He could not eat it all the servings were so large and believe me... More

We were touring the Kentucky horse country and stopped in Versailles to look around and have lunch. Melissa's was a very good choice for lunch. The service was friendly and professional. We ordered the soup special for the day, tortilla, and a BLT and fries. The portions were good and the food hot and tasty. There was a good crowd... More

I had not been to Melissa's for some years. Was in Lexington and decided to revisit. It's not hard to find, still small and cozy. The meat loaf was really good, but I was very disappointed in the desert we chose. I had bread pudding which was mush, and the pecan pie was nothing to write home about. This said,... More
