Very disappointed last night. Not up to usual standards..........Had to ask for wait help. Salad presented before the appetizer, appetizer and food came at same time. Mass confusion and food not up to par. Hopefully will be better on next trip.

This was a GREAT place for dinner. BBQ shrimp with the butter sauce was amazing. My steak was just perfect and the mac-n-cheese was spicy just right. I just wish the waitress would have been a little more friendly. You could tell she was 'just there' doing her job.

Had a chance to go out with my grandson recently and we had a great time. The food is not bad. The Salmon dishes, the hush Puppies and the seafood is very good. We really enjoyed the brownie covered with ice cream and whipped cream. All in all I would recommend this for a night out with kids or adults.... More

Food's good. Really like the hush puppies and fried shrimp. Fried bowtie pasta and artichoke dip is excellent as well. My son likes the red beans and rice. Good service. Almost half the seating is upstairs so if anyone in your party can't climb stairs, you'll have to get a table on the ground floor. Have had to wait 30-45... More

Visited on 3-day weekend with the campus all but devoid of students when we decided to visit. The Recommendation was The Chimes so as we were nearby, decided to visit. A 30 minute wait, as was estimated, was accurate and we were seated on time. Our waiter was prompt and helpful when answering questions about the menu. Our food was... More

Love the fried bow-tie pasta with the spinach and artichoke dip! Play beer roulette with the wait staff...so many choices, I just say "surprise me."

Had a some great New Orleans Shrimp! It is very Close to LSU Campus which is beautiful.Had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone that loves seafood. I will say the blackend alligator was to salty to eat.

This was our first time having dinner at The Chimes. We went there for a date night. We had the chargrilled oysters as an appetizer. They tasted a bit odd. But we thought it was the garlic. Less than 2 hours after eating, we were both violently ill. We won't be back and plan to report it to the health... More

Five weeks ago Tuesday, I went to the Chimes on Highland for some half-priced oysters. They had none. I was crushed, but still managed to have a great lunch. Well five weeks later my wife and I dropped into Chimes East and I got my half-priced oysters. They were excellent, very nice and briney. The horseradish for the sauce is... More

I had the occasion to visit this place on a recommendation from the Residence Inn and was not disappointed. It can be a little loud as the bar area gets packed for games but you could always request a seat up stairs to avoid that. Excellent food! Just what you would expect from a higher end restaurant in BR. Would... More
