Driving through Baton Rouge we stopped for lunch and were happy we found Parrsain's. It was hard to find s parking spot at 12:30 pm for lunch on a Thursday, but we got a table within 3 minutes. Great food and service !

If you are looking for fresh seafood, Parrain's is your spot! We stopped in after my daughter's graduation with a party of 18 and only experienced a 30 minute wait on a Friday evening. We all received out appetizers/entrees in a fair amount of time...More

If you are interested in Louisiana seafood and don't want a "chain store" experience, give Parrin's a try. I've yet to have a bad experience there, unlike others in the neighborhood that shall remain nameless. Cold beer, excellent Louisiana seafood with some extras thrown in...More

This used to be my favorite restaurant of all. I ordered a drink but informed the waitress I did not want it if it had coconut rum in it. She assured me it didn't. When I received it, I tasted the coconut rum. My rice...More

This is on the upper end of a neighborhood-type New Orleans style restaurant. The bar is stocked with a good choice of labels, numerous beers on tap, and excellent service. The floors are bare wood, no tablecloths, very large menu selection, and CLEAN. The wait...More

This restaurant is a good place for sampling some good South Louisiana Cuisine. Start with the grilled oysters (we ask to have them cooked a little more than normal). You may then want to try one of the soups of the day and move on...More

Our group of 8 ate at Parrain's in early July. The food and service was awesome! Best Green Goddess dressing I have ever had!

There is normally a wait, but not too long unless on a holiday. Seared Oysters the best I ever had and I'm not a fan of oysters.

Tuesday is half priced oyster day. Not sure of any specials on Sunday night, but they do have a wonderful Sunday Brunch.

You could just order oysters on the half shell, etc. This restaurant is so accommodating that I feel you will have no problems.
