I was excited to find this place, but was disappointed. First off, the traffic was bad getting there then when we parked there was a homeless lady staring us down from the bank across the street. We walked in and had to put our name...More

Had my first experience with catfish at this joint and was very impressed. My friend had one of the omelettes and couldn’t stop raving about it. It definitely feels very local and is a typical 24-hour diner kind of experience but the food is way...More

I'm new to Baton Rouge and wanted to try a local landmark breakfast diner. Louie's is a must if you have not been there before. Looks like a 50's style old school diner. Very similar to the Jersey style diners you see in the Northeast....More

We go to Louie’s every Sat. Our favorites are the grilled cat fish sandwich, the BEST and the veggie omelet. The hash browns and stone ground grits are excellent.

Convenient that the restaurant is open 24 hours a day, especially when I work around the clock. Great omelettes and even better service. You should go because this place rocks!

I have visit this restaurant twice and both times, I have not been disappoint. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The food is great and bountiful. Located near LSU campus, so there is always a crowd. But the wait is never long.

Casual, old fashioned diner style restaurant. Was highly recommended for a good, affordable breakfast and did not disappoint. Large menu. We had eggs, pancakes, and waffles, and all were delicious. Good coffee that was refilled regularly. I will visit again for sure!

Great poboys and hash browns. You can see the chef cook! Service a bit slow. Tried local beer, which was good too.

I had a cheese omelette with a side of yellow grits and a biscuit. Omelet was large. Filled most of the platter it was served on. The grits were deceiving! I first thought it was a skimpy serving on a dish but these bad boys...More
