Just a small hometown Barbeque, COBB'S. I can't even remember the first time I ever had a Beef Poboy at COBB'S, but I've been eating there most of my life (I'm 61 years old). In all these years, the food has never changed. Still the same orange colored Louisiana sauce satchurating the bun and slow smoked beef, topped by coleslaw.... More

Been there 64 years. MRS. Cobb was nice. Joe passed away 7 years ago. Ribs were meaty. Tangy sauce. Cash only Not such a good experience.

This place is a favorite for everyone. Joe and Sue Cobb opened this place many many years ago and Sue is still here. Her husband passed away. Everyone loves Sue and Sue loves everyone. Excellent barbeque and always fresh. It is a fun place to go and see local friends-you always run in to someone. I am 59 years old... More

Went with my family for a Saturday lunch. Place was empty, we should of been forewarned, but we read all the glowing reviews on TA, so we decided to give it a try. We had beef and pork sandwiches, the meat had no flavor at all, no smoke, heat or any normal bbq flavors. The sauce tasted like vinegar mixed... More

They have some of the best food for it's kind. This is a family owned restaurant and they will make sure you are really taken care of.

I stopped here one day to have a quick lunch, and the food was really good. The staff are friendly and I did not wait too long for my food. This is a little place with Big food. lol...I was very happy that I tried the food.

No much to look at but good food and really good prices. Counter service, nothing fancy about it. Been in business over 50 years says it all. The food is good. I had a nice turkey sandwich and potato salad. It was great and folks are friendly.

Sad to say it, but Cobb's has lost it's mojo with what used to be good Bar-B-Q. My last visit will be my last because of the gooey, almost paste-like spread of what is supposed to be chopped beef is merely a very small portion of a pitiful tasting light spread of meat-flavored paste. Pretty yucky stuff to be truthful.... More

Small place off the road/ close the to our hotel. Great prices and good food. Down home barbeque with all the sides. I loved the sauce and talking to Ms. Sue, the . owner who says she is there everyday. Opened in 1952 with pictures of Mr. Joe and Ms Sue all over the wall. I don't think anything has... More
