We stopped here because we used to enjoy the location when it was Mulate's. The decor and fare are similar but the service and food quality were a disappointment. We had to ask the hostess to send a waiter to our table to take our order and then after a very long wait the kitchen got the order wrong. The... More

Took my grandchildren to experience some good zydeco music and eat some Cajun food. The music and food was good but a bit on the expensive side. But you pay for the atmosphere. The staff was very good.

This is a famous venue for Cajun food, music, and dancing, in historic Breaux Bridge, just east of Lafayette. It was formerly known as Mulate's. We stopped in for the Sunday brunch buffet, and enjoyed the traditional offerings of gumbo, jambalaya, and crawfish etoufee. The decor features local history, including Cajun musicians who have played here over the years. The... More

The fried catfish topped with crawfish etoufee was incomparable. The catfish was wonderfully crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, and the added flavors of the crawfish etoufee topping made it one of the most delicious fish dinners we've ever had. (And we are hard to please w seafood, catching our own fresh in Fl. and the Bahamas). We... More

Tried dinner on Friday evening. It came with zydeco live music 🙂. It seems to be there Friday's and Saturday's but we are not sure. Very good band this evening. The service was friendly and the food was good for that price. Thank you!

Such a fun, delicious dinner! Live music, fun dancing, friendly people! We celebrated my boyfriends birthday and, as NYer's, we were so happy to have happy birthday played by a cajun band!

We had a great Saturday night meal at Pont Breaux, with amazing Cajun food, live music and dancing. I loved the crawfish etouffe and the jambalaya. Our wait person, Derek, was friendly, helpful and attentive.

The food was outstanding. The service was great and very helpful with questions on anything on the menu. The people were friendly. I got the grilled shrimp and fried alligator- it was delicious. My husband got the fried shrimp, both were butterfly-Awesome. They had a zydeco band that was the bomb. It was Mulates originally, which has history. Very laid... More

Very casual, laid back, terrific cajun food. Not much advertised spot, which are usually the best. Service is very good, and I will be a return customer! You should try it also! Definitely make you feel at home here.

Great history and local flavor. We enjoyed the live Cajun music and dancing. The food was delicious and service was great. We'll definitely go back another time.
