Whether you're a drifter in town and you just want to try some good South Louisiana cuisine, or you're a hungry local looking for a good meal, this is definitely the place to go! The food and service are both astounding!

Stopped today to have lunch with some out of town colleagues and the food was very good and the service was also good. Had the pecan catfish lunch special and was tasty and fresh. The décor does look old and tired, but was clean.

Floor covered in crumbs and old, used napkins. Food came and I had to ask for silverware. I ate a salad and left. Better to not eat.More

Worse experience EVER!!! Steak looked like it was boiled! A lot of people at our table (about 10) had to send their food back! TERRIBLE!!! And we had the same experience at Copeland's in Baton Rouge. WAIST OF MONEY! So unpleasant!More

First visit, main dining area, just after 7pm - excellent service, friendly staff, excellent food. Second visit, bar lounge area, after 8:30pm - adequate service, staff seemed busy moving towards closing, still excellent food.

These guys make good fried chicken. Made to order & piping hot. Always fresh & tasty. Top it off with a slice of creole cheesecake & your good to go.

Copelands always has really good food. Apps are great and steals are as good as any other steakhouse around. The service is a little sketchy though. Had to continue to ask for drink refills, sides came out way before steaks and they even forgot one...More
