My straw had a bug on the wrapper possibly from being in an apron that hadn't been washed. My fork had a speck of dried food. Other than that the food was pretty good for a small town restaurant. I had the gumbo which was seriously just like home

I had lunch here with coworkers and the food is absolutely amazing. I had an egg salad sandwich and it was unbelievable. The bread was homemade and delicious. The service was disappointing though. Our waitress never asked us how our meal was or if we needed anything. I still plan on going back, the food was fantastic and it was... More

Whether you are dining in or getting to go be prepared to wait. I ordered my food and then arrived about ten to fifteen minutes later and still had to wait about fifteen more minutes to get my food. My Dr. Pepper tasted like cucumber which was gross and weird. They aren't very polite and there is nowhere for people... More

Wonderful food in a "Grandma's Kitchen" type setting. Mismatched plates, tables, chairs in an eclectic atmosphere. It's a pleasant change from the mundane!

This is a great place for lunch. I have been there too many times to count. It has a small home town feel to it. The food is always great. I love their potato soup. The jalapeño bread is so good. I love their chicken salad sandwich. The deserts are always fresh and delicious. I like to look at all... More

What a great local restaurant! The hospitality was wonderful and the food was better than expected. The staff went out of their way to ensure our visit was exceptional. Their pecan pies are must!

The soups are wonderful. They offer an array of sandwiches. More of a cafe than a Resturant. Service is rushed but friendly. For some good home potato soup it's the place to go.

It takes a little time to get your order, but they are really' really busy. It is worth the wait. I only wish they were open for dinner too! Also the only place in town you can get a Rueben.
