Had lunch today with my husband and sister Service was very attentive and accommodating. Food flavors were good. However, knocking my review down a notch due to my salad being watery. I was trying to order healthy (not fair to The Cabin :)) will definitely...More

Very good food. Great, historic atmosphere. We ate there twice while in the area. Recommend the chicken and sausage gumbo.

We have eaten here several times and keep coming back. The stuff mushrooms for an appetizer or a recommended. Étouffée entrée is also recommended. The trip to the bathroom will take you back in time with the old toilet tanks hanging high on the wall.

My wife and I like to call ahead on a cold winter evening and reserve a table by the fire place. The food is cosistantly good and this place has tons of character.

We stopped at this restaurant, based on reviews, on our way to New Orleans. The atmosphere, history, and food were great. We enjoyed blackened shrimp and catfish with steamed veggies. We would definitely stop again.
