friendly service, huge portions, excellent local food. save room for the turtle ice cream beignet. great crawfish, gumbo, you name it. gets busy with locals and tourists, so go early and be patient, so worth the wait!

Friendly excellent service, great Cajun food in a fun casual atmosphere. Best gator bite in town, and highly recommend the grilled red snapper.(sauce on the side)

One of the basic differences is that tomatoes are used more liberally in Creole dishes e.g. gumbo, etoufee, many other entrees. Cajun cuisine generally doesn't use tomatoes in gumbos or etoufees.

I don't know if they take reservations, but this is very casual place with wooden booths, back country decor, and great food.

We aren't from there so can't answer your question. The trip to Houma is worth it though.
