We visited twice during Mardi Gras as it is one of my Mother-in-law's favorite places and had a decent experience both times. As other reviews state, it takes a while to get the food after ordering so be prepared for that and if you are going during any busy time be sure to have a reservation and still get there... More

We were staying a couple miles up the road at a B&B and were told this was an excellent place for oysters on the half shell. We ate dinner here our first night in Houma and the oysters were the biggest and best We have ever had. They were so large that they were brought to us on four trays... More

Neither of us had experienced boiled crawfish until the other night when we had dinner here. The place was packed, but it smelled phenomenal!! So we waited. About half an hour later we were taken to a table next to live music. We ordered half a dozen oysters and I was devastated after sucking down my last one that I... More

A note on the menu says it all. "Good food is not fast and fast food is not good". They nailed that part. Food was really good, time to get served was really slow. Based on the number of customers who apparently knew the wait staff on a first name basis I'd say it's locals favorite, which is always a... More

This restaurant has caused me to re-assess eating at non-chain restaurants. It was recommended by a work colleague. A group of us visited and had the blackened snapper or fried flounder. Either of which I recommend. The place has a beachy, weathered look both outside and inside. The food was very good, it didn't take very long to be presented... More

Food was excellent but the service was lacking. Have the meal was without water or tea and didn't get the salad that was ordered. The previous day the service was great and the food was very good. Different server the second night.

Ate here twice earlier this week with three fishing buddies. The first time was due to the recommendation of our fishing guide, the second time was because we didn't need to look any further! The oysters on the half shell were fresh and cold, the char-grilled oysters are as good as I've had anywhere. My nephew had the soft shell... More

We could eat here weekly if we lived here. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The prices are very reasonable and the grilled oysters are amazing.

Been here twice now and both times wasn't greatly impressed or driven to go back in a hurry. Food was not bad but can get better in the are of Houma at a similar price.
