This place was packed I thought they were giving away the food. We were seated and waitstaff moves quickly to take your order, but food comes out slow slow so have time overall it was a laid-back good experience.

Visited Lafayette for a wedding. The city has really good places to eat. Thank goodness someone suggested this place for Brunch. By far the best breakfast I've ever eaten and possibly top 10 meals of my life. The praline bacon will change your life.

Great spot for weekend brunch, food is delicious and uniquely Southern. Charming venue, best for couples or small groups, can get very busy the later it gets in the morning. Great evening venue for private parties.

I've visited The French Press a few times now, each time thinking "maybe I caught them on a bad day." I have experienced panicked service on all three visits (which were at off-peak hours, not when they were on a wait, which they often are), long waits for food and an incredibly loud atmosphere. The food has never been bad... More

Super yummy breakfast on a Saturday morning is the most popular. Very nice place but if your looking for a quiet place, this isn't the place for you.

We went for lunch and got there late -- they close at 2 for the afternoon. The staff was gracious and took great care of us. The food was fun and really good, but don't go if you're on a diet.

Brunch is delicious! Great place to check out. Sweet Baby Breesus and Cajun benedict are my favorites. Get there early or you'll be waiting awhile.

I love the atmosphere of the French Press & the food is always fantastic. Parking can be tricky, it's best to park in the parking tower during peak times.

We saw a queue outside so we thought this had to be be the place to go. We waited inline outside for around 15 min or so and then finally got to go in. We ordered and waited for around 40 min. We didn't mind the wait if the food was fantastic but it was just okay. Nothing special. The... More
