Seafood is a favorite and the shrimp and oysters were very good. The setting is an old warehouse and the style is very casual. We have eaten here twice in the past month and enjoyed the food both times.

We were passing through and this was a recommendation from the hotel. We were looking for some local Cajun food and the Blue Dog did not disappoint. Excellent service (Aimee). It has been a while and I cannot remember what I had, but I assure...More
Had the Sunday buffet that was a real treat. If you have to wait, you can go to the bar and get free mimosas while the Cajun band plays. The buffet has prime rib, omelettes, and trays of special Cajun dishes of different varieties. Everything...More

Went here after rejecting the thought of waiting two hours for Ellen’s Stardust with a group of eleven. Delicious! Coffee, food, and service were great. Note you need your whole party there to be seated. Definitely order the butternut squash fries
You reall can't go wrong with the seafood pasta or the crab au gratin. The caeser salad is excellent as well.

John: I am sorry you were unimpressed. If you have another opportunity to dine with us please try our crawfish enchiladas in cumin mornay sauce or our corn & crab bisque. Our bisques and appetizers are highly popular. Thanks, Steve S. co-owner
Missed music night, but the scene prevails (sticky floors, vague smell of smoke from years ago). We were there for dinnner, and it was absolutely excellent. Mind you, this is diner-style eating and not dine dining, but it is at the top of its class....More
