I've driven by this place for years and never stopped. Perhaps it's because I remember one of the buildings onsite being a convenience store and was skeptical of the restaurant conversion. But I'll never just drive by again after having my first taste of the menu a couple of weeks ago! Great meal and outstanding service!
By far one of the best kept secrets in this part of Louisiana! This may be a small place but the food, service and atmosphere are unbeatable! If you leave this place hungry you'll have no one to blame but yourself! The quantity versus the price is unbeatable! The way they season the food and serve it up is so... More
Stopped here while traveling to Houston. Very happy that we did. It's a few mins from the interstate but it was well worth it. Food was VERY good and our daughter wanted a pizza and it was GREAT! We will definitely come back when we come this way.
Walk up and order from the counter. The seafood platter had catfish, fried shrimp and shrimp etouffee along with coleslaw. It was delicious. Casual, family atmosphere. Friendly staff.
We had a wonderful time all our food was excellent. Seafood platter, Gumbo, beef tips and butterfly shrimp, Boudain balls and corn bread. They loved it. It was all very good. My sisters from Australia enjoyed their first trip in the United States of America. Thank you to the ladies who helped them feel welcomed.
I have been at Leonard's, starting in 2002, and I must say I've never had a bad meal. The po-boys are always first-rate, the seafood is quality, and the prices are right. You can't go wrong here!
I went there on Friday for a late lunch with a friend. He got the fried pork chop with red beans and rice. He couldn't eat it all. I had a meatball po-boy combo. The sauce didn't seem as good as in the past. Next time I will get a plate lunch with smothered steak and rice and gravy which... More
