If you enjoy the tradition of Mardi Gras king cakes, you have to try those that this establishment sells. This is the finest we have ever had in the New Orleans area. We were in Metairie on Saturday before Mardi Gras this past February, and the store was packed with people. There were a number of selections both regular and... More

There's a reason they often sell out before noon daily: their king cakes are wonderful. we made a special trip from Florida just to pick up a batch of king cakes. I like the regular, non-filled version because they are plenty sweet and tasty. There will probably be a line outside when you get there but definitely wait. They limit... More

I do not live in New Orleans.. My first visit to Mandy Randazo king cakes ... I stood in about a 50 people line at about 730am ... when I got in, they had all of their flavors and sizes... I got 2 King cakes - one cream cheese and one praline... they were both fantastic... they lived up to... More

Drive down every year to buy my son his birthday king cake. I come during the week and get there before 8:00 am. They sell out fast. As you wait in line, or watch your desired type of cake getting lower and lower in quantity, or have to deal with the always rude people who work the counter, keep in... More

This venerable establishment is an absolute MUST when buying your seasonal King Cakes. Although parking is problematic and the lines must be tolerated, it's worth the wait, I often wonder why you can'y buy a cake without all of the added sugar toppings.

I've lived in Louisiana my whole life and just moved to the New Orleans area where they take king cake seriously (we eat it daily this time of year at work - whoever gets the baby brings the next). So I've tried about 20 different king cakes since I've moved here and this is hands down the best!!

I've made it an annual tradition to have at least one king cake shipped to Houston. If you never had a Randazzo's cream cheese king cake, then you've never had king cake. Lots of sugar filled with cream cheese throughout. Not your typical store bought cake. $58 (includes overnight shipping).

I have bought so many of these king cakes, I can't even count em all. I also ship them to friends and family. Never disappointed! Moist, cinnamon-y brioche with very sweet but tasty icing. It wouldn't be Carnival season without Manny's!

Get there early! After you have Manny's, all others pale in comparison. When you bring it home or to the office, everyone freaks! It's like buying happiness.

Ever since I was told and tasted their king cakes years ago. It is the only place I get them from now. They make the best, I would highly recommend anyone to this place. Especially if you are a tourist visiting the city and want to try king cake for the first time. Hands down you have to go here.... More
