Used to live in south Louisiana. Can't get good "Cajun" meats, etc to bring back with us. We've found Bergeron's to be a good place to stop and shop for items to bring back for the freezer.

We were looking for a place to eat lunch when we happened to pass Bergeron's. It looked interesting, so we stopped in, and it provided the most interesting lunch of our week. Bergeron's is a meat market, but they also sell ready to eat crawfish pies, meat pies, boudin balls, fresh cracklins, and other specialties that are unique to this... More

Been here many times food is always great and fresh. Their boudain balls are great. I like their smoked chicken wings and patties. They have very good hog crackling very meaty where others are just too fatty.I glad they aren't open twenty four seven because I'd be as big as a house.

This was my first time to eat at Bergeron's & it was wonderful! We were in the area with my daughter's softball team. We all showed up at lunch time (player's & parents) & considering how many of us their were & that they were already busy with a lunch crowd-we were served in a timely manner. There were some... I have tried this restaurant several times for lunch. I don't find it to be anything special. The food is OK, I do find it to be a little salty. The food is delivered very quickly. Their market offers a large variety of Louisiana specialty items which are moderately priced.

My husband had the gumbo & I had the fried fish with etoffee (?) Was a bit disappointed in the fish, as it was luke warm, but the etoffee was very good. Potato salad was your typical Cisco large tub variety (my guess), not home made for sure, same for the salad. Cold dinner roll. My husband was satisfied with... More

The lunch choices are delish! Love love this place. The to-go frozen and fresh stuffed meats and sides are truly yummy and we love to stock up for nights we do not feel like cooking at home. Very friendly clean atmosphere.

Enjoyed a great lunch. It was very busy but the service was fast and organized. I went into the meat shop for take home "edible" souvenirs. Got some great meals and the lady at the check out explained how to cook each purchase to get the best result. Great experience.

Stopped in today with the hubby on our way out of town. He has told me about this place, but today was my first visit. I will preface my review with I don't eat some of the cajun stuff people eat around here, but this place has stolen my heart. For lunch, I only had a cheeseburger, but the meat... More
