Service is friendly and courteous--and amazingly, that's got to share the limelight with great food, great concept and great experiences in dining.

Overall, ok. Salads are huge. Love the condiments bar. The pizza always seems to be a little burnt on the bottom, but not inedible. The chicken salad sandwich is usually pretty good, sometimes they get a little heavy on the celery. But overall ok.

Stopped in for quick lunch and was very impressed with unique menu. Order from the counter and it is brought out to you unless you want To-go. Food was very tasty and served quickly. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Drop in periodically for big salads, chicken salad sandwich, or pizza. Lots of choices on the menu, big glass of tea, usually crowded and a bit noisy, but an overall good experience. Parking can be difficult, though.

Orders are easy to place at register. Food is brought quickly to table by wait staff. Condiment bar is a plus with additions of fresh parmesan and bread n butter pickles. I ordered Ahi salad. The greens were arugula even though menu said otherwise. Ahi was prepped in advance and refrigerated so it's not hot off the grill. For the... More

Newk's restaurant is one of many new establishments that have been built in the past few years in the main shopping district in Shreveport. This area is on the southeast side of the city, in the flat, Red River valley. Survey maps once showed this area as Hart's island, surrounded by bayous and fields. Now Youree Drive is a very... I just want to know when Newk's is coming to Arizona! I LOVE this place! They make salads like I do at home, and I've never had one I didn't like (except when I forget to ask for dressing on the side). Fresh, tasty, and BIG! No wimpy salads here! And their soups...heaven in a bowl. Again, I ask, when... More

My husband picked up lunch. I had the shrimp poboy..I am from Southeastern Louisiana..the bread was tasty. The shrimp were beautiful and a good size..they were fairly salty. The chicken chilli was also a tad salty, but the tomato basil soup was right on point.

Came for dinner. Wait staff very polite and helpful. Food came out quickly. Had the shrimp po-boy sandwich. A little underwhelmed. Good, toasted bread. A little skimpy on the shrimp. Good cocktail sauce to dip the sandwich in. The black eyed pea "caviar" side was tasty. Again, small on the portion. While good food, expensive for the portion size.

First time at Newk's today, 12/23/15. Busy but quick delivery of our lunch. Food was good, especially the chicken salad on fresh greens. Lobster bisque, just ok. Otherwise, the employees were helpful and fast.
