The pork loin and chicken fried steak are terrific! The salad leaves something to be desired, just some shredded iceberg lettuce and barely a bite of tomato, but the hot food and pies make up for it. Parking is available, but it may fill up during the lunch rush. Bathrooms are clean. There is a pie room! Great value for... More

Nothing good ole home cooking feel good food. Grandmas cooking to Cajun flavor. Super good wait staff. Can't say enough about the menu. About 30 visits and a review was deserved.

Drove about 60 miles for a weekend breakfast . It was worth the drive . We were seated as soon as we walked in , and coffee was on the table within minutes . Our breakfasts were hot and fresh . The bacon was a bit crispy , but the flavor was old time country as was the sausage .... More

Love their pie but the overall experience was not good. The cook was standing around eating Cane's Chicken while he was cooking. One of the waitresses was sitting at the counter eating Cane's Chicken. The man at the cash register was extremely rude. He hardly acknowledged I was there. He was singing and talking to the wait staff instead of... More

We used to live in Bossier and miss this place terribly. The food is great and the pie is amazing. We stop at Strawns every time we travel through Shreveport.

Local favorite! Have 3 different restaurants with same menu. Great hamburgers, fried chicken, meatloaf are all delicious! Have daily lunch specials. Wonderful breakfast also. Known for their delicious strawberry pies. Must try when in Shreveport/Bossier area. Family owed and a tradition for families to go and eat pie!

Chicken fried steak, white gravy, real mashed potatoes, and greens so good, they need no pepper sauce! Add some sweet corn bread and a slice of pie heaven, and you can die happy! I have heard they have an incredible breakfast also, but have not had a chance to experience it first hand. They will be moving to a new... More

We were visiting friends in Bossier City and wanted to go out for breakfast. Strawn's has always been a favorite breakfast place so we stopped there. My daughter and I wanted to split one of their big breakfasts but we also wanted the strawberries on the pancakes. We asked our server if we could add them. She just looked at... More
