Went during happy hour for drinks and appetizers. Happy hour beer price is $3. I wouldn't call that much of a deal. Appetizers were pretty good.

Enjoyed a post Christmas Day dinner at this location. Arrived around 7PM and was told there would be a 20-30 minute wait. Went to the bar, was promptly served a drink and we were seated at our table following a 10 minute wait. Service and food were good. I ordered the filet, but they were out, so went with the... More
I keep going back in hopes of having the same service and food they served when I was growing up. Alas, it is a giant cluster-f in this place every time I go. The food is mediocre, the service is horrible and the ambience is dated and dark. There was a time when everything was made fresh but I'm not... More
On our recent trip to Slidell we stopped here from lunch based on a friends recommendation. We were not disappointed. My wife had the chicken avocado club and I had a ceasar salad and a cup of gumbo. Both of our meals were very good. Service was on point and the cost was justifiable.
We stayed in Slidell at an RV park and ate our fill of Cajun and Creole food on trips into New Orleans but one night wanted to go someplace closer and decided on Copeland's. We have one in Northwest Arkansas and always enjoyed it so knew we couldn't go wrong. Enjoyed charbroiled oysters and shrimp creole.
Excited to try Cajun food near New Orleans, we took a recommendation from the front desk clerk and tried Copeland I asked for the waiters recommendation on a true Cajun dish he suggested Jambalaya. Which I decided to order when our orders came my husbands plate was loaded with fried greasy fries onions and doughy crabcakes a couple nice shrimp... More
We try to visit Copeland's whenever we go to NOLA. All their meals are superb! My favorite is the pecan encrusted catfish. This is really a feat since I do not normally ever eat any fish. The coating and sauce make it a taste sensation. Very good food that is reasonable priced. Highly recommended!
Yes this is a upscale restaurant chain, but the prices are very reasonable for the portion size and quality. You cannot miss with anything on the menu.
I've always loved Copeland's!! Been going to the one here in Slidell since it opened. Food can be rich and creamy but that's why I go!! Service is usually pretty good!! Good Happy hour spot with half priced drinks and some apps!!
