This is only the second time I have been to this place; both for a birthday party for a grand-daughter who for some reason likes this place. I will have to educate her about good food! The last time I was there, food had to be sent back for various reasons and I thought that would not happen again. Unfortunately... More

So my parents went to dinner last night at Orocco Pier to celebrate my mums birthday. Unfortunately it was a night my mum wishes NOT to remember. As my dad couldn't remember if he'd booked a bottle of wine to be on the table for arrival I said I'd give them a call. I phoned and spoke to the woman... More

First of all..... the views and establishment really nice. Staff are friendly. However, the food is RUBBISH and expensive. Had the fish soup - tasteless.. had the prime sirlon steak - steak was edible but the potato was rock hard. For nearly £30 quid frankly I expect 5 star! The toffee pudding was nice though. Overall I would go back... More

The views from this place are literally stunning even on a rainy day. However, as far as food goes I'd avoid this place. The food is greasy tasteless and you can tell it's either been sitting for ages or re heated several time. The fajita wraps were so hard they could snap before even making a fajita up and the... We had fish and chips and a pulled pork sandwich for lunch. It was not the best we ever had but quite acceptable. Staff is very friendly. The place is busy and reservation is recommended. Several people tried to get a table on the day but could not be accomodated.

Have wanted to try this place for some time. Visited 23rd Oct. Nice decor with cosy atmosphere and great views of rail bridge. Waitress very nice and service good, but so disappointed with the food. Bruschetta terrible - ciabatta was barely toasted. Battered haddock and hand cut chips also disappointing as it was very greasy and the loin of pork... More

I stopped in here for a late lunch with a friend. We were told that the restaurant was not open yet but we could eat in the cafe section. We were sat at a wonky table beside the window. Nice for the view but a bit drafty and the wobbly table didnt help, nobody offered to do anything about it... More
