Called up on Sunday (after finding on the web) and managed to book in for a little later. First class and friendly service on arrival from Sam. Very attentive and helpful. A rarity in this day and age. Fab Sunday roast and local pint (or...2)! Covid-rules followed to the letter by the landlady (who was also very friendly). And a game of crazy golf at the back of the pub for the kids after lunch. Great find and I can highly recommend.More

We called in here for a light lunch, ordered the homemade potato and leek soup with crusty rolls, lovely and tasty. The staff are very friendly and had the usual COVID-19 precautions so felt safe. Have been here before a few years back for dinner...and had a similar experience so would certainly recommend.More

We were surprised to see this dog friendly pub was quiet when we had an evening meal as the food was lovely, friendly staff and easy to find. I had the fish pie, others had steak and gammon and pie which were all well received....Definitely worth popping by for a meal.More

Lovely friendly couple which run this pub. The food is homemade, we ate here three times during our holiday at a local campsite, and think it is a little gem. Recommend the fish and chips, steak and luxury fish pie. Dog friendly too, which was...great for our Bedlington Terrier Jess, the owner made sure she was happy too with a treat or two. We will definitely be back, thank you.More

Have visited the Wrygarth inn a few times when we stayed at Woodlake campsite, and visited again last night, the pub is located in the small village of Great Hatfield near Hornsea. This is a dog friendly pub, great outdoor seating areas if you’re just...calling in for a drink after a long walk, kids play area, and crazy golf. Inside is well decorated and very clean, friendly dogs are more than welcome and usually receive a treat from the owners. Highly recommended is the food, and the pub has received numerous awards. The steaks are to die for and reasonably priced, with a good selection of beers. Lovely friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. We are going again for Sunday lunch. Would recommend the Wrygarth inn to anyone. Definitely worth a visit.More
