We've had clam chowder throughout New England. As Vermonters, we've had our share. The chowder at Maxwell is by far the best. Not too thick, even distribution of potato and clam and a seasoned flavor that is second to none.

Loved this place! Ate here both nights during our short stay in Bath. Two fantastic meals. Fried Haddock and Blackened Salmon very good. Pleasant staff both nights. Very nautical and brick inside. Reminded me of the Chart House in Boston.
