Belfast, Maine is a classic Mid-Coast town. There's now multiple shopping and fine dining opportunities on the "hill", but when it's time for a microbrew, a glass of wine, and good company, head down to the waterfront. If you're looking for a true taste of Maine, walk into The Front Street Pub. Ask for owner, Jon. He'd love to meet... More

On a reasonably long driving day, found this place for a latish lunch, and was extremely glad we did. Partner had chowder, then the chicken, potato and bbq squash. I had the squash apple soup, and the broiled haddock and pilaf rice. What fantastically prepared food in an out of the way working pier pub. Some meals you can still... More

By the end of the day of sight seeing, it was nice to find an awesome pub with great food! Staff was great! It was hot, so it was nice to be cool and inside. The mac and cheese is spot on! Don't miss it!

Locals definitely drop by all hours. Easy place to strike up a conversation at the bar if you're willing to make the effort. Good local beer selection, stiff drinks, good prices. As a solo female traveler, I went back several times as it was a safe, friendly place to have a drink at the end of the day.

We were traveling with friends in Belfast area and stopped fordiner. They advertise that food takses a while because everything is prepared to order. We mostly ordered burgers and waited at least 30 minutes for our food. What a dissapointment. Burgers were ordered either Medium well or medium. All of the burgers were well over well done, burned in some... More

Missed our exit, ended up in Belfast and stumbled across a cozy waterside bar. Nice selection of local brews, lots of local seafood selections plus a smoked BBQ menu. Pleasant and helpful staff, small town feel, very happy we ended up there.

We were sat immediately and our waitress brought us waters. And then no one took our order. We waited 20+ minutes. The place was not very busy. Several waitresses walked past us, not one acknowledged us. We left without ordering.

Highly recommend the Guinness BBQ pulled pork - some of the best we've ever had! Our waitress, Michelle was great! Something for everyone & lots of great local brews!

Happy hour all day Tuesday, great selection of local on tap brews. Wait staff very nice. I had clam chowder that was really potato chowder. No clams, no clam taste. No fair....I'll try something else next time.
