We chose the Tugboat for dinner for the last night of our time in Boothbay Harbor and were not disappointed. The lobster bisque was the best we had ever had. We also enjoyed the crab dip, sautéed lobster, and local blueberry pie for dessert. Every bit was scrumptious and the service was perfect.

The dinner was great but took too long. Not enough wait staff. As the season comes to a close in October, fewer restaurants are open in Boothbay so the ones open are crowded. Make reservations!

Lots of seafood choices on the menu. My wife had the lobster and it was outstanding. My choice was the seafood newburg, lots of lobster scallops and shrimp.

Food was good service friendly. They needed another server on to expedite. Yet they were very efficient for the full house. Food was good. Nothing to rave about. They do make a good drink

Enjoyed a lovely meal in a lively restaurant. The service was excellent and the food delicious... also managed to get a local bottle of wine which went down a treat.

We had the crab roll, lobster bisque and scallops. It was excellent. It over looks the harbor. Good prices.

The Tugboat Inn has the best food in the world! The rolls melt in your mouth and the atmosphere is the best! Get there at 5:30 when they open to get a seat by the window overlooking the harbor. We had fried seafood called Harbor Sampler that was awesome. The vegetables were really good! We will eat here again tomorrow... More

We opted to go elsewhere for dinner although staying at the Tugboat Inn. This was a big mistake. We came back to the Tugboat Inn for dessert after a disappointing dinner elsewhere. The blueberry pie was fabulous!! The blueberries were delicious and the crust equally so. Wish we had gone here for dinner. The view over the bay is beautiful.
