My mom and I ate there for dinner and it was excellent. Massive amount of food. The half order is easily enough food. The fish was the best fish in fish and chips I have ever had. The fries were nothing spectacular (little too greasy for my taste). But I would HIGHLY recommend.

The location is not correct with Trip Advisor. From Booth Bay go north on Townsend ave( which becomes Wiscasset rd, left onto Corey and you will find it (2 miles north ). Great, fresh local catch, if you drive by you must stop by. Not like the tourist attraction restaurants in town.

We've eaten here 3 years in a row. It's such a unique experience that it's hard to describe because you've probably never eaten at a place like this. It's really not a restaurant, but more of a roadside stand that serves fried fish and french fries. That being said, if you love fresh fried fish, you need to put Bet's... More

Her fish is always fresh and delicious. My fave is the 1/2 fish dish. She is a Boothbay tradition and hero. And she is the only business in town that has had the courage to stand her ground against the jerk Paul Coulombe who is destroying the quality of the town with his cheap ego. He is the perfect example... More

I want to be clear that I've not eaten at Bet's. My rating simply mirrors what is already on TripAdvisor as to not impact the rating in any way. The purpose of this review is to note for future customers that the map associated with the listing on TripAdvisor is wrong. In fact, the restaurant is at least 2 miles... More

Went for a long hike and worked up an apetite. Was craving a lobster roll. Was driving by Bets and decided to stop in. No lobster rolls so went with 1/2 order of fish and chips. My wife the same. We were having dinner later that night so when we saw the generous portions we both said we shouldnt eat... More

What can I say...I love this place and tell everyone about it! I frequent it a couple of times during the summer and often I am bringing friends. 1. Get the dill mayo for your fish. 2. Order the 1/2 portion...unless you are really super hungry. The single portion can easily feed 2. 3. You can sit there and eat,... More

I'm not particularly fond of fried anything but the fish and chips here are excellent. They do potato chips and fries and both are good but the chips are exceptional. The fish is fresh local haddock and it is also very good. Well worth trying. I'd go back for sure.
