I heard a lot about this place, so decided to go by during one of my visits to Bangor. The place is around 15 minutes from the airport but was worth the drive. I had the Lobster Roll which comes with House Fries, Coleslaw, Pickle. The food was great. The view out of the window is nice. Parking is limited... More

This place looks like a total hole in the wall from the street and the inside is just as tiny as you might imagine. However, the food is HUGE... On taste & size. The serving sizes are massive and absolutely delicious. My dining companion ordered a lobster roll that looked divine and folks around us had gotten seafood platters that... More

I try to avoid chains at all costs while traveling on business. I liked this place so much that I went back two nights in a row. Might be a little difficult getting a table during peak hours, but they have chairs to hang out in outside while you wait. Met several great local "characters" while waiting. I don't believe... My family and I have been here many times, bringing out of town guests several times. You can't go wrong with the lobster roll (biggest I've ever seen), the fisherman's platter, shrimp roll, the list goes on and on. Their fries fish is some of the best I've had, and the scallops are perfection. Not a lot of ambiance, but... More

I found the Eagles Nest on Trip Advisor. What a gem! My daughter had the lobster bisque which was amazing and incredibly rich. I had the fish and chips and they were fried to perfection! We were stuffed when we left so, I took a piece of lemon meringue pie that was a quarter of the pie. I ate it... More

What an awesome little restaurant....it is tiny but the food is terrific and the staff is very attentive . We had a wonderful waiter that did an awesome job . We have been here a few times and the food is always great ....if you find yourself on the outskirts of Brewer Maine it is worth the time to stop

The place is quite small but the food is great. I have not had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table. The seafood is really good as well as the coffee. Its a restaurant where you want to where your flannel shirt and jeans and enjoy a filling meal.

This place commands a beautiful view, and has a high quality and copious fish menu. We will be tempted to try their large and well prepared lobster rolls, perhaps the best in this area. Halibut was carefully prepared and my wife complemented the chef that it was the finest halibut she could remember in all our years.

Mix between a diner and seafood shack, but the food is wonderful. Limited seating so not a lot of privacy but the grub makes up for it. When driving up make sure to be on the lookout because it's easy to miss.
