very good seafood. No frills, just good fish and lobster. Had a fried clam roll as I did not want the whole dinner. It was great.

I always return to the Eagle's Nest when I am in the area. Don't be fooled by its humble exterior, slooping floors, crowded extremely small environment, or the smell of grease. Their lobster rolls are delicious and lobster-packed. Make sure to go at off times as they don't take reservations, and there is often a long wait....outdoors. Worth it for... More

What a find! The seafood platter is SO tasty and delicious! Plenty of food to share for the whole table! The only reason it is not a 5 is due to fact they do not serve alcohol- yes, you read that right! Stop you wont be disappointed. Will we come again? YES!

Sometimes things change for the good, but my most recent visit to the restaurant I couldn't have been more disappointed. The Lobster stew was shameful, pieces of lobster swimming in a bland very weak broth that resembled a splash of milk and water. As for the main course we ordered the Seafood platter, the clams had absolutely no flavor, the... More

Met the nicest people while waiting to be seated in the small dining area. The food was excellent, staff friendly and food plentiful. You will not leave hungry. Ate here both nights we stayed in Brewer.

Awesome haddock sandwich. The filet was 3 times the size of the bun and there were 3 slices of tomato plus the lettuce. Comes with a side for $10. Great deal and quality.

It was a great place on the river but did not reach my expectations. A bit more seasoning would have been better. The buns were delicious, the lobster roll was a bit over priced and dissapointing.

This is a very small hole in the wall. Waiting is usual. There is one cook in the kitchen doing all the cooking and prep. The kitchen is open and maybe not what people want to see. But the fried fish is extremely good and you get lots for the price. There have been off nights but for the most... More

We went here on a Friday and were lucky enough to arrive before the crowds. We were able to be seated immediately and there were still two other tables available. When we went by later that evening, it looked like fifty cars were parked outside for a space that holds fewer people than that! The restaurant overlooks the Penobscot and... More
