After a week of Maine seafood (great), this was a refreshing counterpoint. Very interesting flavors, great service and interesting beers. Brings back memories of Germany and Eastern Europe. We will be back. Very comfortable atmosphere with the dark wood and stained glass. Wife was impressed....More

The best German food around. We never leave hungry or unhappy. The baked breads before the meal are delicious. The purple cabbage is a must. Great German beer selection as well.

My family has enjoyed meals here for more than 10 years. You will always have a nice meal and good service at Richard's. It might not be the fanciest or trendiest place in the area but it is consistent in food prep and the service...More

Ate at Richards for 2nd time (couple of years apart), found food and beer some level of quality and deliciousness as before. Wait staff performed well and gave excellent service that was timely, helpful and kind. Still recommend this restaurant.

Full assortment of real German food and beers. Waitress was rather slow and forgetful. Missed a few items. Very disappointing they add automatic 20% gratuity for a group with separate checks, and no notification that is a policy.

The place looks German and sounds German, but the food is not German. I lived in Germany for eight years and I'm qualified to judge. My jaeger was a tiny slice of meat, with overly fried breading. The sauce was just brown gravy and mushrooms....More

I was disappointed with my meal. The schnitzel was dry and overlooked with almost no taste. The spaetzle was sparse, cold and tasteless. The red cabbage was good. My wife's turkey streusel was good but the green beans were terribly undercooked and cold. The rolls...More

Sorry I did not see this question until now. I do not know if they will do low sodium requests, but it is a small place and they do seem to enjoy seeing their customers happy.
