We ordered weinerschnitzel and kasseler ripchen, our Richard's favorites, with sides of hot potato salad, red cabbage, and sauerkraut, all delicious. We have the smaller portions, which are plenty for us. Rounded off with Munich Spaten lager, a perfect fall supper. Service is always prompt...More

We've gone there many times over the years, as a couple and with friends. Richard has passed on day to day management to his son, and his son has maintained the family tradition of fine food and good service. They have a collection of domestic...More

We called an hour ahead on a September Monday to ask if reservations were required. No, but they took our name anyhow. Immediate service upon entry. Quiet atmosphere with quiet German music playing (marches, folk music). I had the kasseler ripchen (smoked pork chops) with...More

We both had the sauerbraten and it was very good. A nice sized portion. The gravy was very tasty as was the red cabbage. The hot potato salad was bland and nothing special. I wish we ordered desert but we had blueberry pie waiting back...More

Our server, Kenny, was slow. We sat for 12-15 minutes before he came to the table without introduction. He was seen pulling down a plate from the pass, getting sauce on his fingers. Fingers went into his mouth and then to the garnishes for the...More

We stopped in here on a whim. It was really good. Loved the goulash and the salad bar. The hot pretzels and rolls that come to the table were great too. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would stop in here again.

Having visited Germany we had high expectations. We were not disappointed. Had many authentic dishes on the menu. Our waitress was outstanding. She gave suggestions and was very attentive. Felt the cost was quite reasonable. I had bratwurst, braised cabbage and spaetzle. My husband had...More
