Sometimes, you just need a Chinese Buffet. Since there is not another for miles, on either side of the border, this one will do nicely. All the classic dishes are there, and they are reasonably well prepared, and reasonably priced. The only real problem i have encountered is the utter indifference of the staff. They are barely civil, at best,... More

Americans, in general, thrive on bland food. Anything with real flavor or spice, especially pepper, is soundly rejected by most of the population over here. Sadly, all Chinese restaurants in rural communities in the US have extremely bland food for this reason, and King China is no different in this respect. They have a large menu, but one wonders how... We love the food here. I usually get takeout, but have visited the buffet in the past. If you are dining in, the buffet has lots of selections, as well as dessert. I will be picking up some appetizers tomorrow to have for Super Bowl munchies.

The place has a cafeteria feel to it. However the daily buffet is pretty good with lots of choices. If you miss the buffet, don't worry, the menu is awesome. Order two things per person and you will be stuffed and taking home a container. Ma Po tofu is awesome, dumplings and wontons... great. Crab rangoon is a favourite of many.... More

I generally only go here for the buffet, and I like the fact that it is ALWAYS predictable in terms of what is on the steam table. The down side is that it rarely changes. Each dish is generally good, the staff keep the buffet in good shape, and food is generally hot, fresh, and consistent. Selection is in the... More

However, don't allow the positive reviews to make a decision to eat here. i ordered for delivery and the entire order was wrong. we had to call them and let them know, that not only was some of the food missing but the ice tea's we... We came to Calais from Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, with the main goal of coming to King China, as my wife had been there many times and was raving about how good it was. I can now confirm its true. Not only that, but the value can't be beat. 8.95 for a lunch buffet! For 4 of us, it was... More

Chinese is not at all on the top of my list, but my husband and I ended up here with a group of friends. All seven of us were quickly seated and offered drinks which were promptly delivered. The atmosphere was somewhat like a school cafeteria, but I wasn't surprised as this seems to be the norm for Chinese restaurants... More
