I posted a review on the Hearthstone Inn and Hideaway, so to sum up, if you're looking for a relaxing weekend and some delicious food this is the place to go. The breakfast included with your stay will blow your tastebuds away. That alone is worth a 5 star review but pair it with outstanding service, friendly owners who are... More

Spent the holiday at the Inn with a few friends. Friendly, accommodating staff. Delicious Thanksgiving dinner. The start of a new holiday tradition. Be back in 2017.

The Hartstone Inn is a sweet Inn in Camden Maine. The suites have fireplaces, jetted tubs, and separate entrances. The real treat is the chef's tasting menu. Chef Michael Salmon is a CIA graduate. We had an amazing meal. The wine list is good and the ambience is lovely.

The tasting menu, which changes monthly, was superb. Mushroom ravioli topped with duck slices, lobster bisque, and pan fried haddock, followed by cappuccino soufflé. Excellent wine by the glass. Located in the inn of the same name, the dining area is small and intimate, with very attentive service. Arrive early and enjoy a drink with wonderful small crostini-like bites before... More

We have only been here for breakfasts included with our Hearthstone Inn B&B stays. As delicious as the breakfasts are with their fresh ingredients and well-prepared food, I imagine the dinners would be very special and make for a memorable experience. Hope to return soon for another visit, to enjoy more breakfasts, and for what should be a wonderful dinner.

We stayed at the Inn and took a cooking class, so ate here four times. While everything was good, the highlight was the chef's tasting dinner. Everything was delicious, very fresh flavors, beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. We will definitely return when in the area.

We enjoyed the Chef's Tasting Menu. It started with mushroom ravoli in white sauce that melted in your mouth. This was followed by a creamy Lobster Bisque. We are from the area and have had lobster bisque in numerous restaurants but by far this one is the BEST. The next course was a blueberry sorbet. Its taste was so light,... More

I have stay here twice now with my good friend. We stay in the main inn the first time and in a suite the second time. Both were comfortable spacious and clean. Love the cocktails they serve in the evening and the breakfasts and five course meal are wonderful! Am hoping to go back this winter for another two night... More

We arrived early and enjoyed drink specials in the parlor, which included a delicious hors d oeuvres. After we were seated, we enjoyed a culinary delight of the Chef's Tasting from beginning to end, which included the Lobster Stew, Pork Chop with Mash Potatoes, Gingerbread soufflé.

Complimentary breakfast were the most wonderful breakfasts we've ever had anywhere! And the chef was even willing to give away tips on how he created them, to boot. Definitely a pleasure to learn them.We also had one dinner there and it was also wonderful, and we didn't even bother the chef that night. Wait staff and others were most gracious... More
