Stopped after visiting Fort Williams. Great stop. Excellent donuts and very friendly. Very reasonable.

They open like clockwork at 6 every morning, with a few national holidays closed. The glazed items are legendary. Coffee is pretty good. Best place to eat this stuff is Fort Williams weather permitting.
Old school neighborhood bakery. Popular with locals, tourists, others. Wife and I buy a couple of big crusty molasses doughnuts and a cup of mediocre coffee, take them down the road to Portland Head Light.

I don't know if this is open all year but they have a wonderful business. Their doughnuts and mini cupcakes are fabulous. Try their chicken pot pies too.
