Homey atmosphere and comfort food. The crowd seemed like it was mostly locals but all we're welcoming. Wait staff was a little harried but the restaurant was very busy so to be expected. Dishes were ample and well prepared. We were happy we opted for dinner here versus the large hotel we were staying in near by. We will visit... More

We had a goal of seeing Nubble Light lit up for Christmas, so we were searching for a cozy place to get a bite to eat and chat near a fireplace. We were unable to sit in view of the the fireplace, but near it. The host and our waitress were very prompt and polite. Our lite (by choice) was... More

Quick summary: Delicious, well-prepared food from main courses to sandwiches, small plates and salads at dinner. Lunch is mostly sandwiches, salads, soups, fish & chips.. Moderate prices for the high quality. Friendly, professional staff. Dining room and separate tavern/pub have the same menu. Open year round. We were here again to visit family for Thanksgiving. This is always a stop... More

This was my first time at the Cape Neddick Inn Restaurant and it had amazing service and was beautiful inside! The food was delicious and so were the drinks! I dined with 6 other people and everyone enjoyed it. 3 people got the NY strip and said it was delicious, we also tried the starlet chicken and prime rib special... More

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at the Cape Neddick inn. From Chowder, complete Thanksgiving Dinner, turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, squash, cranberry and stuffing. Complete with pumpkin pie and creme boulee. Great service, nice home atmosphere.

Stopped in with a group of 9. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere old New England inn. Several people ordered lobster and all seemed to thoroughly enjoy. I tried the fish chowder and a baked halibut and was not disappointed. Would definitely recommend.

Food is extremely fresh, and local wherever possible. The Statler chicken is delicious, The Crab Cakes were the best I had; since visiting Maryland, where lump crab is king. I never thought I would find such delicious crabcakes up North. The cod special with panko and pistachio topping was prepared to perfection. The lamb lollipops were cooked exactly right. Highly... We were referred by our hotel concierge who is also a local. The location is easy to find, and is cozy inside. They had three blazing fireplaces and the place was packed. The service and food was good and I wish I could rave about the place, but the food and service wasn't at that level. My crab appetizer had... More

We've passed this spot many times, but when our first choice for dinner was reserved for a function we decided to stop here. The bar and restaurant areas both have fireplaces which were welcome on this cool, rainy October evening. The service was very good. We didn't have reservations, but since we were there early we were able to have... More
