Friendly service, tasty local dishes (hint: lobster), and some healthy food options (impressive selection!). All in all, a great place for a quick tasty meal after a day spent exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor! The lobster roll was more than decent given its price!

My most recent visit was horrible. The breakfast wasn't very good, the service was slow, part of the order was forgotten, the plates were wet when the food was put on them so the toast was soggy. But, I've eaten here before and have had...More

Food was good but not acceptional. Would not return. Waitress seemed distracted. Waitress said she would check to see if I was ok with the colslaw; she never asked.

This is my favorite places to stop at for dessert and coffee as I am leaving Bar Harbor. The desserts are large and so good. Always grad some to take home Prices are reasonable and relaxing atmosphere to rest before driving home.

Solo dining; chose Governor's because I am very familiar with the menu and had a certain expectation for food quality. I wasn't disappointed. The food (burger & onion rings) was very good, as expected. Good value for the price paid. Server was very pleasant and...More

Hey Folks, after being in Maine for many years, finally took the leap and tried the lobster roll at Governor's for their June Birthday Celebration Month. As you will see in the photos, I could only go with a Naked Lobster Roll, meaning nothing on...More

Breakfast was good, huge pancakes, eggs, sausage and cinnamon toast were good. Home fries were just fried potatoes. Waitress was nice but never came by the table to see if everything was OK or to refill the coffee.

Ordered breakfast on-line, blueberry pancakes, french toast, home fries, coffee, bacon & sausage patties. Everything was great! Coffees came large but plain. Good thing I got a milk. Real maple syrup too!
